Default intro

hey guys, i know its a little late in the game but just wanted to drop a line say hi.
im a new rider i just traded my 2000 300 ex for my first motorcycle, i made a sweet trade for a 88 600 hurricane, she runs a little rough right now, but i have it at a buddies shop getting her all timed up and set up.
one thing i have seriously noticed about this model is that it is very hard to fine stock/aftermarket/performance parts for my baby, if anyone has any lines on a good place to get gear it would muchly appreciated.
only thing i have changed on my bike is the tire sizes,
i ended up going with
110/70/17--front
140/70/17--rear
pirelli sport demons
thanks to you guys.

cheers
mitchell

Sounds like a sweet bike, I've got an 88 aswell as an 87. Performance parts I have yet to find but you'd be surprised how many stock parts can pop up from a wanted add in your local online classifieds. I stuck an add up and had a wide choice of parts from farings to complete parts bikes come my way. Even had a disassembled 89 with a title pop up for next to nothing that i sadly had to pass on. Throw some pictures of your bike on when you get the chance.

sounds sweet man, i didn't think that parts would be that easy to find.
yea another thing i am contending with right now is my seat is all messed up, obviously someone was riding it without the cover for a wile because the foam is all destroyed, so i am arguing with my self about weather to get the seat re-foamed and maybe cut out a little for me, or just to say screw the whole idea and just recover it.
but anyways i will throw a few pictures up don't have many now though
