Default ignition order

so im wondering the order of the sparkplug wires on a hurricane.

stock parts diagram shows first wire from the left coil going to cylinder 1, the second to cylinder 4. and the other coil from left to right is cylinders 2 on the left and 3 on the right.
i drew up a picture in case my description is hard to understand.

is my drawing correct?

thats exactley how mine is wired, however these bikes fire the plugs every 2 cycles. IE on the compression stroke, as well as the exhaust stroke. So, it may be that the plugs just so happened to be hooked up so that they fired at the appropriate time.

Is the kill switch in the run position? Can you smell fuel?

i think i might be able to smell gas in the oil. its hard to distinguish one from the other for me. i tested the pulse generator and it came up with different readings than the repair manual states. does this mean i need a new pulse generator?
