1990 cbr 600 f hasn't run in 15 years. carbs are frozen and I need a complete rebuild or instructions on how to clean.
The gas tank I think is rusted, cant get it to unlock. I have been washing the lock out with diffferent type oils for a few days and nothing. I think it may be rusted shut on the inside.
Motor turns over even on a low battery.
any help would be great.

 

get yourself a service manual, it should have enough info to walk you through it. do you have one, if not i can link you to one. just make sure you do one carb at a time so you dont mix up parts. take pictures as you disassemble if you have to. you may also invest in a manometer or try building one yourself for after the cleaning.
