I recently bought a 1987 Honda Hurricane that runs, perfectly fine. I went and got some gn4 oil from the honda dealership. But I put some in and still can see anything on the dip stick, how much can it hold and how much does it take?



Oh how much are tags on the bike? Cause it hasnt been registered since 2004, any guess so I know whats coming!

Also right behind my carb idle adjustment screw there is a hose that is sitting there with a clip on the end to hold it to something, the other end is connected to the canister below the show on the back. Any ideas where it goes or a diagram of the bike parts?

 

its about 3 quarts without a filter and about 3.5 with a filter. In the manual the procedure for checking the oil level is to put the dipstick back in without turning it in and seeing how much there is.

where do you live? i am in cali and just registered one that hasnt been registered sence 2003 and it was nearly $400 it's like $80 a year or somthing to just register it here.

 

In illinois it cost me $124 dollars to register my bike.
