I'm gonna start doing oil changes myself...I got the filter now where is the drainplug (haven't looked yet) and how much oil do I use?

 

if yours is like my F3, you have to remove the Left side fairings to get to the oil filter and drain plug. on the bottom of the crankcase, look for a odd colored (maby 14mm bolt). thats the drain plug. it will be a different color from the rest of the bolts.
as far as oil quanitity, i think the book reccomends 3.7 quarts with a filter change. it will be less if only changing out the oil and not the filter.

Yes, about that much is correct... BUT remember to put some oil on the gasket around the top of the oil filter... it helps alot when trying to get it tight....
