Default HELP with throttle tube

Okay guys first let me introduce myself im Zburna from oakland ca, a first time rider. I have a 1988 Honda hurricane 600f (first bike). Im a complete noob and trying to learn as i go. Okay what the problem is, the throttle was getting stuck so i removed my grips and discovered the original throttle tube was split which was probably why it was sticking. When i tried to remove it I noticed the cables were real tight and just broke the tube to remove it. I ordered a replacement (not original) and since then havent been able to get it to connect. I tried adjusting the adjusters but still didn't fit. How can i get these cables to fit on the new throttle tube? (New tube is suppose to fit perfectly.)

Try removing the handle bar from the bike without disconnecting anything else. Should give you a little more slack maybe.

Still not very clear what the problem is. Are you saying the cables won't fit the ferrell holes? Are the cable diameters too large to fit the groove in the throttle? Are the cables too short?

If it is a length problem you may need to loosen the cables at the carbs to get them on, then readjust. Or take the bar off so you have slack in the cables while you assemble.

The cables are short possibly not what the bike was not meant to have. Unfortunately i cant even get to the carbs because previous owners hadn't opened them up for years so they're stuck. I tried wd 40 doesn't work I think i have to take it into the shop as soon i can get enough money.

If they fit the old throttle tube they should fit the new one. If the carbs are stuck the cables won't move so only way to get them into the tube is to loosen the adjusters at the carbs. Stuck carbs is likely what broke the old tube.

If your carbs are stuck WD40 likely won't help. You might get the throttles to move but being stuck indicates long time sitting. In that condition carbs likely need to be rebuilt. This could be costly in a shop. If your new to this doing it yourself is a major challenge.
