hey everyone, im new here and also new to bikes, ive worked on mustangs my whole life but its seem i dont know diddly-doo when it come to 2 wheels lol i recently purchased a 1990 cbr 600f and am lookin to do a few things to it but im not havin much luck maybe u guys can help me out ?
im looking for swingarm extensions and lowering links im not havin much luck finding them tho, does anyone know anywhere i could find them?
also what can i do to it as far as using wheels, fairings, swingarms, or anything else really from newer bikes?
and what is the widest tire i can throw on the back stock wheel?
id really like to be able to stretch it just a little and get some more rubber on it, so any help u guys can offer on how to go about it let me know

not much aftermarket accesories for these bikes.
everything from swingarm to new plastics will have to be custom made to fit.
i've heard people squeezing a 160 on the back, but i dont recomend it. it will change the handleing of the bike. the stock tire is wide enough to drag the pegs as is.

+1 on not using a 160 on the back.
110/70/17 front
150/70/17 back
is what i use and i dont feel a difference in handling from stock.
you can lower the front by sticking the fork tubes higher in the triple.
but this makes the steering very crappy so if you dont have much experience riding this can make it harder to learn.
as far as fairings go i've gotten 2004 1000rr fairings on my 87 cbr600 with ease. so at this point fairings might be your easiest mod. lol![](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gif)
hope this helps
