Can you tell me what the issue is with your bike lol.. I'm kinda lost but want to help. Is it the fuel petcock that needs to be located or something else? Also, when your bike cranked, how long did it stay started and what did it do when it died?

it runs fine, it died at first cuz i took the choke off to soon. but i let it run with choke and slowly turned choke off and it stayed running once it was warmer. i think the reason it wouldnt start b4 was because it wasnt getting enuf fuel. because it only started once i cracked the fuel cap open, and i got it to crank by jumping the starter solenoid with a screw driver. so that needs to be replaced. is there a valve that lets air into the tank? because i dont wanna be driving it with the cap cracked open. but thats the only was it will run.

Sounds like maybe you have a vacuum issue? I would double check the lines from the tank as riding with you gas cap open is not an option

It prob is. I'd double check the underside of other tanks the same model and see how they are configured if possible. One way, would be to look at the service manual for your bike and see the diagram
