Is it 2 1/4 turn on an 88 600 hurricane as well? I'm still slightly lost on what I read previously in this thread! I have an 88 600, and it literally sat on a city street in Philadelphia for the last 8 months through every storm. I went and picked up the battery and charged it convert it back to the bike, I added a half tank of clean 93 octane and after two sprays of starting fluid it started right up. I rode it home for 45 minutes. So the first 35 I had to adjust the choke to keep it running and for the last 10 it ran completely fine. I parked it for 3 days and then took it out on a 2-hour ride and it was fine. Someone told me you should take the air box off and check the carbs and make sure everything looks clean from where you can see I did it looks good I sprayed a little bit of B12 in there. Put everything back together. I also put in a fresh air filter n a new fuel filter. Now it will only stay running with starter fluid sprayed right into the air intake. Stuck float?
