I just bought myself a 87 cbr600f and the plastic is gone or cracked to the point the nose is the only part left and its in bad shape. I havent gotten it apart yet but wanted to know if the gauges are part of the plastic panel or cound be mounted sepert on a fabed up bracket? The directionI want to go with it i would say is a mimic of the new 919 hornets. Thanks for any imput this site has already helped me with alot of good info.

 

the gauges are separate from the upper fairing, so you can in fact fab up a custom bracket to hold them, along with your light if you so choose.
