Gaskets?

Default Gaskets?

Im about to pick me up a new V&H SSR2 slipon, what gaskets if any should i replace?

Not a one. The slip-on is just that; a slipon. Just an exhasut band to tighten on the merge collector. If you were to replace the headers you would need new copper crush washers for the head, but thats it for the exhaust.

so if i remove the headers i need new gaskets for those or just a crush washer. i was looking at the fiche parts sections, just one gasket for each cylinder, or are the washer used in their place?

#6 in the image?

it's listed as a gasket. you are looking for part #6. it's basically a very large copper washer.
