i think it was that thread he adressed the intake problem without an upper.

 

It sounds means, it's a much deeper sound than the Vance & Hines. I didn't think to weight it...but it's much lighter than the stock exhaust. And it runs a little lean but it's no big deal, I'll work on the jetting again this winter.

I'm working on the highmount, hopefully I'll have pictures by Monday.

 

so its louder than the V&H, is it abnoxious loud like everyone always says they are?

 

so the only way to fix that is cover it half way with tape?

 

im sure you could fab something up like a fibreglass or carbon piece to cover it.
