hi new to the great cbr 600f any tell whats the avg mpg

Depends heavily on how you drive it. 40-50 mpg is a good range.

Fun Fact: The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti gets NINE MPG.

I'm getting 48 on a 66 mile mostly highway commute. And another fun fact: Motorcyclist reports the 2009 Yamaha R1 is averaging 28 mpg.

i got 75mpg last week taking it real easy .
the week before i got 19mpg giving lots that was on 97 octane ron

and I bet your lancer is a TINY bit less responsive and makes less power lol!! takes fuel for power
I usually get about 55 mpg or so with a cruise, and down to 45 if I get anxious or hit the back roads with a lot of shifting

Like jonnyx said... it depends how you drive it. I have gotten 60mpg while cruising highway for a long time, and I get somewhere around 20mpg or less on the track.

How many miles do you guys avg out of a tank before you have to put the reserve on?

I get about 140 or so, again depending on how much time I spend near the upper end of the tach

160-172 out of a full tank.. then i have reserve but not sure how far reserve goes i had 15 miles on reserve farthest i ever went..
