Default Front sprocket

First of all HI to everyone! And.. sorry for any mistakes I will make in english.. Hope I'll improve if I'll stay here for longer

I've got 530 chain and I wanted to change my front sprocket from stock (15 teeth) to 14. I couldn't find a 530, 14t front sprocket anywhere so i bought... 525.. It's of course smaller (more tight) and chain moves a bit from side to side on it..
And I am wondering.. IS IT SAFE..?

Welcome to the forum and greetings to Poland. I have my one and only tattoo from Gdynia, hope that's spelled right. Don't worry about your english, your's is better than most that live here.

Your biggest issue will be that you will wear out your chain and sprocket really fast with the wrong size. Then that can lead to slippage

Too bad I didn't know earlier.. Thanks for the links anyway.
I couldn't find this sprocket in 530 in Poland, maybe I'll try again to find it by JTF catalogue number.

You spelled that right [sm=smiley20.gif]

I just bought brand new DID50VM chain..
As I said - if I'll find this sprocket in Poland by JTF number I'll buy it ASAP !
Or.. maybe it's time to create an account on ebay?
