Nice, never done a burn out on a bike before.. might do when my tyre is up for replacement..

Mine runs fine out on the road now.. did have a lot of issues before fitting the jet kit.

Will post some videos of her on the road once I get it all legal and a video of it on the dyno..

yea, im gonna be looking at a new tire next season, thats why i decided to do it,

funny thing is, i showed you can still give good smoke without pinging the rev limiter, i did that in second gear and didnt rev her all that high.....

shows you can show off a little....but not beat the hell outta your ride,

well hope ya get up a ride vid soon, always good to share the honda experience

well that inspired me......heres a quick shot of my cane out on the street....nothin too fancy, but shows how she gets along with the giant main jets......shes idling a lil show as shes still a lil cold.....but does just fine....it was kinda hard to do.......had my dig cam tucked under my face sheild, then when vid stopped, took it out and put in pocket before main roads with some safety in mind....so here it is

Good stuff.

Took mine out for a run today.. It doesnt pull cleanly through the revs now.. Im guessing now the sldies are lifting quicker due to the holes being bigger I need to lower the needles so less fuel gets through?

It hits a flat spot at around 3-5k struggles then pulls cleanly all the way to redline at the moment.

keep the faith, you'll get it right, the setup you heard there was luck really, i was going to use the needle kit and drill my slides....then i noticed my stock needles seemed to fit into the jets better, so then i just put my stock needle back in the #1 carb....then just changed the rest of the jets via the bowls, left my other needles alone, and the video shows shes perfectly happy with it no flat spots, or hesitations even if im 1/4 all the way to wide open, but really, i think i just got lucky......like i said, you'll get it, usually you'll have to take the carbs off several times before getting it dialed in.....

Yeah I thought it seemed a bit too good to be true.. Its ok as I have a car as my main transport so no real rush.. Will take them apart this week and lower the needles..

Cheers..

yea, i hear ya there, with my wifes first 250 ninja i must have had the carbs off of it 20 times before i got em right, i got really lucky gettin it the first time around on the cane but now her choke cable is sticking......might have to pull it down to replace or lube that cable......first time in a while i needed choke to get her going then it sticks so the revs wouldnt come down, i know its the cable tho, when the old cable broke i could pull what was left of it and it would act right....oh well....so yea ill be lookin forward to seein your ride in action
