Default 1987 CBR600F Hurricane project

I just bought an 87 Hurricane! needs a lot of work but my first step is to either replace the fuel tank or modify the original to suit a new "bolt in" fuel cap assembly any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
has anyone had any luck with other model tanks?

I don't know of any bolt-on replacements, but if you're handy with a welder you can make almost anything fit

Sounds like a fun project. Let us know if you have any questions. Good luck

I'm able to make up brackets and such, just thought there might be a tank that was close in terms of mounting points, I plan on Street fighting it
