Died, now wont turn over

Traded for a 1988 CBR600F Hurricane and it ran great until last night (left outside under cover) got down to mid-20's. Started and drove it, kept dying, got it started by jumping it. woulnt stay running so pushed it to my buddies house and went and got a new battery (old one was bad)

So now it wont turn over at all. The headlight comes on but when you push START the headlight goes out and the fuel pump clicks. The fuses are all good including the master. Cant figure this out. Gonna take the starter off and test it. all connections i could find were snug too.

The light is supposed to turn off while attempting to crank. Check the starter for power and trace from there. Go backwards through the relay, switch, then to the battery until you find power in but not out. If the starter has power, make sure the engine isnt locked up before replacing the starter.

Not sure if your starter relay has a 30a fuse or not, like my 929, but look for that too.

check the battery voltage first and foremost. anything below 10v and the bike simply wont do crap.

trust me, I know this all too well.

bob speaks the truth. you need a good power supply.

check the main relay fuse as stated. it is a 30A
and you can also test the main relay to see if it connects the battery to the starter when its supposed to. either manually (with the relay removed) as well as how they said, use a volt meter and set to read volts, put one side on a ground, and another on the starter wire. and push the start button. if you see no voltage, you arent getting power

turned out to be a flakey relay (main one with the 30a) so ordered a new one for $20 off ebay. thanks everyone
