Are there 2 smaller bolts by the chain?

i suspect that you are referring to the bolts on the cam chain gears on top?
Yes i did. Ellse the chain wont come loose

No, the ones that bolt the head to the case under the gears.

Are those for the cylinders and not the head?

The cylinders float, I believe. They may just be stuck....

The bolts connect the head to the block. If the head is loose, then you got them or don't have them.

I don't suppose you could point it out in the manual or post a photo of what you mean with cylinders float?

Not for an F1.

I'm just guessing on your specific motor. If the barrels are loose, then they are of the floating design. Otherwise, you would be in BIG trouble....

Caveat - my suggestion is based upon removing heads from other engines, not CBRs - If there is nothing else holding the head down you might need to smack the head on the sides with a rubber mallet to break it free from the head gasket.

I did that all ready sins its not my first time taking an engine apart tho nothing. there is a slit movement tho not only from the head. I have removed the head cover, the cams and the 12 nuts that are designated in the manual. Can't seem to understand what is amiss here...
