Default clicking between 3 - 4500 rpm

Im thinking it might need a valve adjustment but some friends tell me the CCT is a common problem as well. would that cause a clicking sound at low rpm, which i just cant hear over the engine and exhaust at higher revs?

How easy is it going to be to adjust the valbes once i have it all apart?

yes cct would cause a clicking at low rpm. So would a small exhaust leak, or valves, or clutch basket. does it click at idle?

with the bike in neutral and runnin at 3000rpm, pull in the clutch lever and see if it gets quieter.

check around where the exhaust meets the head for any signs of leakage (black sooty area)

if you havent had the bike serviced in a while I would take it in for a valve adjustment anyways

pull your plugs and check the condition of them.
