Default Cleaning up the wiring ?

Was trying to figure out if my fuel pump, and needed to figure out where the fuel pump relay was. I ended up tracing the wires from the pump wiring connector to it. A fairly large bundle of wires was wrapped in what seemed like a ton of electrical tape. My fingers are still sticky from peeling at it.

What's the best way to clean this up and keep the wires nice and tidy and secure? I was thinking maybe something like the stuff here: ?

Wrap Around Braided Cable Sleeving

If there's better stuff to use for use in a bike, or a better place to buy it, I'm all ears.

Thanks !

Ideally the wires would be inserted through a PVC sleeve but this is no use to you if you just want to wrap existing wiring. I use this convluted tubing in some applications, it's tough and can be retro fitted to existing wiring.

Alternatively you can get non-adhesive cable wrapping tape. It's just like regular, sticky, PVC tape but without the glue. Wrap it round with a suitable overlap then hold in place with a loop of sticky PVC tape (or a cable tie) at the end.

@stanthomas just wanted to let you know I ended up buying the sort of adhesive tape you mentioned, as well as this stuff:
MGI SpeedWare Woven Mesh Split-Sleeve Wire Loom for High-Temperature Automotive Harness MGI SpeedWare Woven Mesh Split-Sleeve Wire Loom for High-Temperature Automotive Harness
. Thanks for the suggestion !
