Looks good! Is that the "real" SS182? Might be cool if you could share how you connected it. Can't quite make out the connections from the video. Looks like something sleeved in heat shrink added at the tach signal connection?

No it's fake SS182 and its working but only when i do this:

The meter is creating a resistive path from the tach to ground. That might be cleaning up the pulses or reducing them to a level that the tach can handle. Try putting a resistor in its place, just connect it from + to - in place of the meter. Maybe try something between 1Megohm and 100K ohms for starters.

And yup, I have an original SS182 and it still works well. But it took quite some head scratching to get it working.

Hi, anyone know why i get unstabile rpm signal? my ss182 worked fine, but i didnt ride my bike for a year and speedo was not connected.. today i connected everything on its place and i got this unstabile signal but i dont know why..? Thanks
