Default CCT Aftermarket adjustment

Hey, So i havent been able to find any good info on the 600 f2 aftermarket cct. my engine starts and then dies out after a few seconds with a pretty bad noise coming from it. sort of like clanking. Im thinking its the cct. How do you adjust? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Want to get this done asap!!

Thanks!!!

From the text I'm assuming you already have the APE manual CCT fitted into your bike? The original hydraulic does not have any kind of adjustment, the aftermarket manual one has a big bolt sticking out of it.

Loosen the locking nut on the big bolt in the center, to test how tight it is screw the big bolt out a few turns. Tighten the same bolt as tight as you can with your fingers and with a straight face (meaning don't put all your might into it) and start the bike. If you don't hear a rattle from the CCT open the bolt a little until you do, it is very obvious when you hear it. Tighten the bolt to the point when the rattle goes away plus about half a turn and tighten the locking nut. Done.
