Default CBR600FT Frame

Hi, I have aCBR600FT with a bent frame. I'd like to fit a new frame, anyone know what earlier or later frame models (600FJ etc) are suitable for this bike. I'm not sure what the changes are to the CBR Models were denoted by the change from FJ to FT etc each year.

If anyone has this info or can tell me a link to find itI'd be really grateful.

what year is your bike?

there are some minor differences from year to year but on the whole are generally the same. i have 2 framesand mainly it is the mounting points for some accessory/ancillory items.

you should have no issue getting a frame to replace the one you have now. all the major items (engine, swingarm, forks, tank, seat, etc.) will bolt right up. no problem.

My bike is a 1996 CBR600F-T.

I bought a CBR 600 F-J Frame for £15 and a few days laterbought a newish CBR 600 F-T frame with yoke and stemtoo for £180.

I'm not going to need them both butI snapped up the CBR 600 F-J frame whenI saw it on eBay whenI was still checking if earlier frames will do.

Thanks for your comments and help.

1996? hmmm, you should be in the F3 section of the site. the stuff listed under the 600F header is 87-90.

thats what i was trying to say, UK has their models all mixed up. an F1 over there was like 2001-2002. and i believe it is an F4 or F4i.
