Default Cbr600FL / Hurricane I'm going to fit an RR set of plastics.

Have been thinking about this for a while now. I've had a good look at what needs doing, and so far it's not looking too hard. Most of the mounts on the bikecan be used to bolt on new (home made) brackets to hold the plastics, and parts (seats, lights, seat lock.......)in place. I'll poat pictures as I go. The parts are comeing together off ebay. As I'm in no rush I have managed to get bits very cheap. I love that word. Free is better though. I'm buyingdamaged panels. But as I'm going to spray it all at some point who is worried.
I'm off to find some more pictures and will post them as I find them.

You are right, it is rather simple. The hard part is gathering parts and just getting it done. You can view a thread I have that covered my progress during the conversion.

Thanks. Like that. The parts are getting there one by one. The headlight is the bit I'm looking forward to the most, and the front cowl. I'm looking forward to getting them so I can start planning how I'm going to bracket them in place. You know how it is. You fill your head with ideas, but untill you get the parts your just passing time. Ive been trying to get an idea by drawing, and looking at diagrams on places like http://www.bikebandit.com/. LMAO I've been buying the same parts ofcbrs you did. Ebay number 320306026500 I have not put the foot pegs on yet andtook a guess they would fit. Got a lot of good tips from that thanks. I got the rr bracket and catch, but didn't think of the other rrbracket for the back seat. Nice one. My mate has a pc23, and he is going for a single side swing arm and tail exhaust. We seem to have a bike build off starting. I think his will be more technical than mine. He got the exhaust for £5 off ebay. It was a local pickup only. The fella was well fedup. I'll post as I go. Still hunting for parts yet. Thanks again. Nice one.

gotta be logged in to see it, thats why the pic is not working too. i didnt realize you were doing the front too. i am in the process of finishing off my conversion, still gathering parts. i know exactly what you mean about not being able to do anything but conceptualize because until you have the stuff, you just dont know. i am going to use f4i gauges on mine, already have the 900rr speedo sensor. man, headlights for a 600rr cost an arm and a leg, 150-200. something i still need to get.
