Default cbr600f update

hello folks.
Not been here in a while, so I thought i'd give you a little update on my plans for the bike.

This is it when I got it. (I not got any pics on the pc i'm using)

https://cbrforum.com/forum/new-member-area-5/photos-up-105061/

Basically, its went down hill hahaha.
mechanically its sound, apart from the fuel pump which packed in. So its now gravity fed. which is ok for running about on, but when summer comes along with the big runs, it'll be such a pain. So its either try and repair the old one, or get a cheap new or 2nd hand one.
I've not had it out in nearly a month because of the snow, my street is like an ice rink.
that fairing is in a terrible condition now.
Both inspection panels are broke in some way or another. And are now taped on.
And its the same story with the R/H fairing (the one going along the side of the seat)
this is mainly due to the previous owner over tightening fairing bolts, so the plastic loops on the fairing became very worn and basically fell to peices when I took them off.
So I'm gonna turn it into a naked, basically get rid of the fairing round the engine and possibly get some kind of re-mould for the sides.
also in the future, possibly some bug eye head lights and a new instrument cluster..
Has anyone done this before? Got any helpful links, pics etc?

I wanna keep it as simple as i can.

thanks

Yes, many people have done the streetfighter look. I refer you to this forum member. Patpatpat. https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f-15/new-here-new-project-113015/. This member just posted his before and after pics. It came out looking good. Check it out as I'm sure he can answer these sort of questions. Good luck!

Yep, thats the same direction I plan on taking my bike, too.

I believe the headlights he has are the dominator lights. From what I've seen you can get them from $100-150 on eBay. They want like $50 just for the mounting brackets :/

thats good for me man, i'm in the UK too, scotland.
i wanna do as little as i can to the bike. so i've decided on a plan.
cut down the peice of fairing with the light and instruments so its no bigger than it needs to be. move the fuse box under the tank. new indicators on front.
recondition the back side panels, ideally so the screw/bolt on beacause all the plastics wearing away.
get rid of what i don't need, then repaint the body work.

thats basically it.
