cbr600f 1988 rod bearing colour

Default cbr600f 1988 rod bearing colour

hi people, I need your advice, I rebuilding the engine and I need rod bearing, the crankshaft has AAAA letters imprented, but the rods dont have any letter, I can asume is 1?, so I would need yellow bearings, right?. the used bearings I think has brown colour. Any help are really apreciated.

Yeah when I'd had mine apart I remember I couldn't read the markings on the rods either. Just make sure to confirm clearances with plastigauge afterwards, and you should be fine

Thanks for the answer, I'm going to buy a 2 pairs of bearings, one brown and one yellow, and I will confirm with plastigauge which ones are the corresponding tolerances.

Hi people, finally I got the bearings and I make the measures, finally I decided by brown bearings, yellow bearings can be used, but after the measures, I prefer brown(thick) .

I little pic with my regiter xD, thabks a lot
