Whoa! I just saw this, I just emailed him! Thanks for the find.
How much did he charge you for making and shipping from England?
I tried to put the EL wire into the dash of my CBR. It looks fine, they light up great, but the blue (I got the blue) doesn't reflect off the black background or the red numbers. I noticed that the white needle looks really nice with the blue, so I figured if I can get a white back with blue numbers or vice-versa, then it would be great!

IF you just pull the cluster and take it to a GOOD speedo shop, they'll do pretty much anything you want for a few hundred bucks. Since you're in CA, try North Hollywood Speedometer. I use them for my cars and they're awesome. If they won't do it, maybe they can tell you who will. They might be a VDO only shop, but I'm not sure.

RE: CBR change guages to white
So I am taking some advice and I am having the faces made in white with blue numbers. The guy on Ebay who I am going to buy them from is great at responding. he is in England and will ship. I think its going to be about $30 for all three gauges including shipping. I will post pictures when I'm done.
but now I need a whole new dash first, no sense in putting a nice face plate with EL light if my dash is cracked (yea it was dropped )
Oh, and I got the EL Wire idea from post on here who refered to this link: http://www.outersurf.com/index.php?o...amp;topic=3753
Thanks guys...great ideas.

Don't know if any of you have done this, but my 1990 CBR 600F is from Canada and shows the Km/h in LARGE print and the MPH are hard to read (especially at night or going fast). Does the needle position change at all from the American version? I could get replacement white gauges with MPH only if that's the case.
Thanks, from the ultra newbie (bought the bike 2 weeks ago).
