for the bowl gaskets, don't use rtv or anything silicone based if your not going to get the stock gaskets, some guy at Napa lied to me and said it would work and at the time i hadn't thought about the gas dissolving the silicone. so i went back another time and asked a different guy and he said that gasket paper was gas resistant so i tested this by putting some gas in a cup and put a little strip of gasket paper in it and let it sit for a few days and it didn't break down. so i just took an x-acto knife and cut some gaskets to cover the whole surface where the bowl meets the rest of the carb

i know that they take o rings, but there's enough surface area around the groove that the o ring sits in for the flat gasket to work. its defiantly not oem, but it seems to work just fine. btw, the number on your carb doesn't sound like its stock. in the shop manual it says it has 32mm carbs
