I prefer EBC myself. Work well with excellent stopping power.

I put EBC kevlar on the front calipers last weekend, and they're not stopping nearly as well. Is there a break in period? I put EBC double sintered on the rear and they're working great. Any thoughts on what's going on with the kevlar ones?

kevlar pads are only slightly better than organic pads imo. i use sintered all the way around. they provide excellent initial bite unlike kevlar or organics which do not. kevlar does not leave metal dust on surfaces unlike sintered pads. kevlar, being a composite, does not come up to operating temp as quickly as metal pads. and unlike metal pads, they can take alot more heat load. even after the bed in period, i still think the kevlars will not perform as well as the sintered metal. bed in period is 250 miles stop and go, not highway miles. i did not like the "feel" of organics or kevlar, but you may find the kevlar to your liking for other reasons.

as a side note, did you bleed your brakes or change the brake fluid? this could also affect performance.
