My bike has died [:@] ..
- no time/date display on lcd.
- puting the key in spinning it has no effect at all.
- batter is completely charged!
- I have checked all the fuses(s) & they all look healthy (ie. all have bridges inbetween which indicates they havent blown)
WHat else can I check or what can this be?
Many thanks in advance!

First of all, do you have a hurricane with swapped guages. second it could be your solenoid, does the bike click or even attempt to fire up? If it does nothing at all, I would put my money on the solenoid. Take off the rear right side cover and look where the seat meets the tank. You will see a round switch with a black wire and red wire. This is the starter solenoid, a magnetic switch. occasionally they will go out. Check the main fuse, which is the one on the solenoid, and if its good, use a screwdriver or lead wire to make a connection between the two nuts on top of the solenoid, if it clicks or fires up, you need a new solenoid. There is a very rare chance you need a new 'Start' button as I did, but i wouldnt bet on that. You can get a solenoid here:

i was just asking to see if they switched to an aftermarket or later year LCD guage. and im not really sure what could be causing this other than a faulty wire. lets wait and see what michigan_313 says, he should have an idea or two.

you dont have any pics of the bike itself? cause that dont look like a hurricane. there is CBR F1, F2, F3, F4, F4i, anyone of them could have had the number removed.
attached is my bike, does it look like this?

that is an lcd for a f4 or f4i. the side covers for the fairing bracket are missing. not to mention the windshield screws are in the wrong place. definitely not an F1.
is 30 amp fuse from starter selonoid okay?
does battery experience any drain?
check wiring harness starting from battery and move onward checking if voltage is being passed from place to place. ie. battery to selenoid to starter, or gauges, or lights.
i would venture to say that one of the wires from the starter relay switch (selenoid) is not passing voltage or ignition switch is bad. i say this because one of the wires (at least on F1) goes to ignition switch which in turn provides power to lights, starter engine stop switch, turn signals, fan motor, etc. they provide power to everything at startup.
you need to get yourself a wiring schematic to make this easier for yourself. RRasco, is there one posted up somewhere that you know of?
i think it will be one of the above as power must flow to/through them to power up other parts of the bike.

can get them here:
F4 Service Manual
or
F4i Service Manual
periro16 you need to take some pictures of the *whole* bike so we can tell you what you have.
