OK, I just picked up an 88 Hurricane last week. This bike represents coming full circle for me. I had an 87 that was for all intents and purposes, my first bike. I sold that bike off, not knowing just how much it would affect my life.


I've had all kinds of bikes since, but like ones first love, you keep thinking about that one.


Only this time around, I have a whole bunch more experience and knowledge to help the process along.


Which brings me to my request. Does anyone have a spare headlight?


They story I got from the PO, was the first owner was a kid (at the time) who enjoyed the bike until one day he took a tumble. The bike sat, pretty much, ever since. It would get started and run for a little here and there, but never returned to road duty.


I am changing that. I have tires on the way, and am currently doing all the maintenance, from the valves out. This bike is dead nuts simple to work on.


I need a headlight (and want an upper fairing) to get this bike legal.

Where are you located? I have a couple spares I think... Can't help you on the fairing though...
