Default Aftermarket Exaust Question

I have a 1989 CBR600f and am considering getting an aftermarket Kerker pipe for it. I am pretty sure the bike is jetted, but I am not completly sure. It has an aftermarket K&N filter and a DynoJet Fuel Management sticker on the swingarm. I just changed the plugs and they came out a dark tanish color which makes me think that the bike ran on the richer side. The bike has the stock pipe on it right now, would anyone recommend making the switch or should I just stay stock? Is there any significant performance gains with getting an aftermarket pipe such as the Kerker Slip-on pipe? How would I go about figuring out if the bike is indeed jetted? If I put the new pipe on and it runs ok, is that sufficient.
Any advice would be appriciated!

Default RE: Aftermarket Exaust Question

a golden brown plug is just about right, darker is richer. i dont think you will have to re jet forthe pipe. if you have the $$$, go for it.
