Hello I have an 87 Cbr hurricane 600. Please bare withstand its first post. I'm in the process of bring back to life. It running strong now. I'm getting ready to paint it. I'm looking for some lowering links for back I'm a girl only 5'7 so harder when on hills and so kind of protector for the fairing. I have not found any, but if you know of some are maybe some way to put f2 parts on my f1 let me know.

You could probably use the F2 frame sliders on the F1, or some universal ones.. I remember reading something about it on here awhile back, but not sure what thread it was in. As far as I know nobody makes a lowering link for the F1, and the F2-newer rear shocks are a different design. The aftermarket parts availability isn't nearly as good on these bikes as compared to the F2/F3 unfortunately. You might consider having an upholstery shop modify the seat by taking off some of the foam which would make it easier to reach the ground without lowering the suspension.

You don't want to lower the front without the rear as well. As tahoe said, nobody produces lowering links for the rear shock. A good shop may be able to fabricate up some for you. Make sure you have it tunes though, or else the handling will be compromised.

Try shaving the seat as suggested above!
