600f project El Differente'
Well as some of you may know I've been riding my 89 cane for a while now. Its never been quite straight since i got it.
The Guy that had it before decided it would be a good idea to take it to a track with no experience and crappy tires and laid it down.
Well to go with the lay over it twisted the subframe and nothing has lined up very well since i got the bike, so i decided to do a tail swap a month ago.. then that turned into my current project.
Its getting a full face lift with a ... unique... set of fairings fitted to it.
I know it may seem sacrilegious to do such a thing to a classic, but it was torn up pretty bad so its not much of a loss.
As of now she has an f4i split seat rear section that's almost buttoned up, and its getting a front and side set from a 2007 gsxr.
I know the whole cross breeding it will be hard to take for some die hard Cbr guys, but for the sake of being different i think its gonna turn out pretty wild looking.
Not sure if i can post pics from my cell phone, but if i can i will post up my progress to this point.
It'll be a drawn out project since it fell to the back burner, still missing a headlight and upper fairing, which may turn into a race fairing and custom headlights incorporated into the original intake ducts.
Stay tuned, its bound to get interesting.
