Default 2001 CBR600 F rear number plate panel

Hi everyone just signed up as I’ve just bought a 2001 CBR 600F in advance of getting my bike licence and doing some maintenance on her, the rear number plate panel is no longer available from Honda (Part no. 80100mbwd20) does any one know where I could get hold of one or if a aftermarket option is available TIA

Hi there, welcome to the forum.
Lets see some pics of our new machine and good luck with your test.
I think this is what you are after:

As you can see on this link it is a common part on a number of machines so an ebay search probably your best bet and / or ring around the local bike breakers to see if they have any.

Yeah, eBay search brings up lots of them:

Thanks for the advice much appreciated, really pleased with her, she’s only done 8000 miles and completely unmolested, I’ve ordered up all service parts and brake pads so looking forward to getting fairings off and giving her a good clean and getting het mechanically sound, my son loves it as much as me 😂

Thanks had a good old tinker with her today did the spark plugs and air filter I was planning on doing a oil and filter change but there is a slight leak from engine casing so will get a gasket and sort that first, I also put a tail tidy on as the original number plate cowl was cracked and a new original part is unavailable, got rid of the scott oiler cleaning the chain and sprockets and re lubricated

Scott Oiler does seem like overkill.
