Ive had my Cbr for about a month now and im getting pretty bored of idiots in cars not hearing me coming and just pulling out on me (or they could just be..) but anyway, ive been looking for some race cans on ebay, and the manufacturers websites and i cant find a single thing :/ If anybody has any sort of exhaust for sale whether its micron, remus or anything or even if you could do a little re-search for me and see if you can find anything, would be very greatful as im not too good with computers and spent about half an hour figuring out how to make a post :L

well, for starters, i'm not sure you're in the right forum. if you do have a 99, you need to be in the F4 section. otherwise, if you have an 89 F1, your exhaust choices are limited. i think the only can sold new is D&D, and i believe thats just the muffler. sometimes you can find yoshimura exhausts and others on ebay.

a louder exhaust IS NOT going to keep people from pulling out in front of you. you just need to keep your eyes peeled and anticipate the worst from cagers. if you do any amount of long highway driving, you will get bored of the loud exhaust.

+2 you will get very tired of hearing it on the highway.. If you really think about it, most people have their radios on when they are driving so they probably wouldnt hear you anyways. The best thing you can do in my opinion is make yourself visible when it looks like someone might pull out in front of you!! When I see someone in the median looking to see if anybody is coming I usually weave in my lane a little bit to make myself a bit easier to notice..

 

how is the stock exhaust not loud enough? damn thing wakes up the street.
