Default 1990 HURRRICANE LOOKING FOR SERVICE MANUAL

I am new to this site and recently purchased a 1990 Honda Hurricane and wanted to see if I can get my hands on a service manual, so that I can cut back on repairs and do it myself. Plus I enjoy taking it apart and taking a look around. the bike is in great condition and runs great theres a weird buzzing sound that comes on a few times when im riding, I have no clue what it can be but am faithful that once I get my hands on a service manual, I can fix it myself. I am still thinking about restoring the bile to its original colors? any advice?

Try Going to servicehonda.com they have a large selection of service manuals for a reasonable price.

Nope, not normal, but its probably the gas tank's rubber isolators, they wear out and cause the tank to rattle against the frame. Try revving the motor up sitting still and push on the tank to see if it goes away, also try lifting the tank up while somebody else throttles on for you. If it goes away then thats the problem.I used spacers to put enough pressure on the deterioted rubber to stop the rattle. The other trick is to use some weather stripping along the pinch seam on the bottom of the tank. Good luck.

thats not for an F1. i believe it to be for an F3, but its definitely not for an F1. throughout the years they described the F series model as the only current F model. ie, in 95 the 600F meant F3, and in 92 600F meant F2, but they were all referenced the same 600F, not explicity meaning 600F1.

Well, it's all I have until the copy I ordered from Helm Inc. gets here--it's on backorder. *shrug*
