I am still searching for a clean set of all OEM carbs so that I can have two sets for my 89 600F... I bought the bike with jet kits and drilled slides... I have it running pretty well, but I remember when I used to own one of these bikes many years ago it would not be so temperamental in around town speeds, at RPM range off idle to 5000K or so. I really want to put it back to stock.

Anyway, I found a set that I might buy, but they are from a 1990 (I am told that they bolt right onto any 87, 88, 89) and I am wondering from this pic if they are from a California bike due to all of the extra vacuum tubing on the carbs... any ideas? Or is this normal for a 1990? Could these be made to work on a non-CA 1989 bike? THANKS
