Default 1987 CBR600F piston oversize kit

Hey all, new to this forum hoping to get some help!

Also new to motorcycles as well.

I have a barn find 87 Cbr600f that I’m currently rebuilding. I’ve got to engine back together all except the top end. Reason being, I cannot find new pistons/ rings for the dang bike. For being one of the first and coolest sport bikes on the market they are incredibly difficult to find parts for. I’ve scoured the internet and have found some things from sketchy websites or insane prices, but I stumbled on an oversize piston/ ring kit on eBay. The pistons are however .250” oversize which seems like way too much.

Anyone have any insight to these oversize kits? Are they trustworthy? Do they work reliably? Any downsides if they do?

Also, if anyone knows good places to get engine parts for this bike, please share a link!!

Trying to do this correctly, but I’m new to it.

Thanks!

Thats what I thought. Seemed ridiculous to me and everyone else I’ve asked. I can’t find any reviewed on it so maybe I will ask the seller if they mistyped.

Thanks for the response!
