1987 CBR 600 Hurricane isnt starting???
Hey guys first time posting time posting here and also my first street bike. So I bought a 600 Hurricane its a 1987. I bought it and it started up fine no issues. Got it home put it away. The next day I went to start it, it didn' start but the lights were still coming on so i figured the battery just was losing a charge since it was cold and my garage isnt heated. Well i got the battery charged and hooked it up and now it' not started and none of the lights are turning on so i know it' not the battery and after a little bit of reading on here i replaced the main fuse on the starter relay. The fuse was bad but that didn't fix the bike still isn't starting up and no lights. I had a friend check the stator and it was reading fine so i dont know what else the problem would be that would affect the lights and ignition. Thanks for the help
im not sure on battery age but its reading 11.98 and not changing at all when i have key in and trying to start
The big fuse was bad so i replaced that and there was another main fuse that i replaced but it didn't do anything different I havent tried bridging solenoid but I thought if it was clicking and not starting it was the solenoid so since it wasn't clicking i didn't think that was the issue
Would take a look at all the connections around the starter solenoid, they tend to become brittle and hang on by one thread ,that causes over heating and burning out of the wire, take the solenoid off completely and check wires
Is the neutral gear indicator working?
edit: oh, I see you are not getting any electrics working. One of the first things I would check is ignition lock switch and it's wiring.

Have you tried pop starting it? If it pops starts at least you know it’s not mechanical I would swap out the voltage regulator I just did mine a few weeks ago and all the wires were about on their last leg even if that doesn’t fix it it’s a pretty in expensive.
