hey guys i went from 90 1000f to 98 bird 22,000 miles checked valve clearances to ease my mind, put back together and is leaking oil from #4, there is a hole under exhaust on all cylinders why is it leaking and what are those holes? just below head gasket

Simple, potentially looks like valve cover gasket is gone and is dripping oil down the head
or even possibly a blown head gasket to me ..... don't ride it until it's resolved

Yep - cam cover gasket.

Quite common for people to seat them incorrectly when replacing the cam cover after a valve check

The small drain holes are to allow any water to escape from the spark plug holes.
