Dear sirs, can some one help me on two pionts, i'm looking for a wiring diagram, also the best/ right place to wire in my heated grips ? and Aux power for GPS

Hi there, I have just fitted oxford heated grips on my bird this week. I fitted them direct to the battery, as i didnt want to cut into the bikes loom.

If you plan on having a few axillary devices, the best way is to make a secondary fuse box.

Using an automotive relay, getting power directly from the battery, and being toggled on/off by the license plate light (key switched source of power). This way, when you turn the key off ALL of you aux. devices will turn off. No risk to flatten the battery by forgetting to turn your grips off.

I personally recommend the license plate light, because in the event that something goes wrong - all you lose is that light. Many people tap the horn circuit, but I really would rather have my horn, than my aux devices.
