Who's better off?
I have read a lot on this site about 600 v 1000, as in 600's being better on the track; lighter weight ect.. So I have a bit of a hypothetical questionfor you guys. Which one of the following riders will have an advantage? (A) A 58kg rider on a CBR1000RR (B) A 85kg rider on a CBR600RR |
RE: Who's better off?
easy, the one that can ride better.
dont read into all the crap about which bike is better on the track. In the end a better rider on ANY bike he is comfertable with is going to be fastest. |
RE: Who's better off?
Did you mean to put the lighter rider on the faster bike?

RE: Who's better off?
ORIGINAL: vpsophmore Did you mean to put the lighter rider on the faster bike? So if the 1000 is carrying a lot less weight than the 600 will it get around a corner as quick? Now lets assume both these rider have the same riding skills. Who is better off? |
RE: Who's better off?
They are both better off than the squid on the Gixxer!
Just kidding. Sorry- I don't have a real answer for you. But I would guess it really depens on how how sharp the turns are. We all know that the 600 will do better in the turns and the 1000 will do better in the straights. Even though I ride an '06 1kRR, I think I would put my money on the 600 with a porky rider in the curves - but I am mainly a commuter, so take my advice with a grain of salt ;) |
