Does anyone have a good idea for tires need for both road and track days. I heard they had a new dual compound tire out has anyone see or used them?

 

pirelli diablos are great for both.. corsas if you are on the track more then street

 

I am now running the new Diablo Corsa 3's. This tire has the tri-layering compound in them. I am very impressed with the super quick warm up, positive feed back the tire gives no matter if your trying tricks or laying it over at deep angle. These grip excellent compared to the others (Bt014's, 208 qualifiers, conti attacks). I haven't tried the pilot powers yet, but in my book the corsa 3 are far better than the others I have tried and mentioned. They are pricey, but tires are the one thing I am very picky about for some reason.

 

haha for " some odd reason" prob because it's the most important part of the bike right Illushun, i am the same way i replace tires asap and with the best i can find

 

i'm pretty happy with my Dunlop Sportmax GPs (190/60 & 120/70)

 

+1 for the Diablo for more street and some track and the Corsa for track then street. Corsa up front, and Diablo in rear in either flavor, (Diablo, CorsaIII or Corsa for serious track days)

 

gixxereater --- you run a corsa on the front and a regular diablo on the rear how does that work? what's your percentage street/track

 

[8D]I have just purchased my first set of MICHELIN Pilot POWERS this is the best damn tire I have ever run on a bike! These tires are great andyouwill not be disappointed!As far as the dual compound,MICHELIN has that dont know much about them But,I have a friend that is going to buy a set and I will let you know what he thinks!
