Can anyone tell me the recommended break-in procedure on a 2007 Honda CBR 1000RR motorcycle.

I've always heard to break em in like you're gonna ride em ............ uh, nice choice on a screen name .......

Yeah, I heard about the dyno break-in. Like, one pull at 20% load, one at 40, 60, 80, 100%. It's supposed to seat the rings to the cylinders' hones real good, and that's what you want, to help with compression. But we're talking maybe a couple of horsepowers.

Or you can do it by the manual.

I've heard if you go too easy on it, the rings won't seat properly and you'll have problems later on. Had one that still had the cross hatches at 8k, it had a gentle break in.

On pg 212: During the first 300 miles, avoid full throttle starts and rapid acceleration. That's it. You don't have an owner's manual? You should have one and read it. Oops, this is for a 2006. I doubt the 07 will be different.
