Default Trip to Home Depot for tools

I need to tighten the chain on my four day old '06 CBR1000RR and don't have the right socket for the rear wheel bolt. Nor the right crescent wrench for the standoff bolt and lock nut. Can any of you oldtimers for the '06 model tell me what size I need to buy.

Thanks,

TexasArmadillo

Actually, it's 32mm (or 1 1/4 inch). (I called the dealer at lunch.) And the tensioner bolts and lock nuts are 12mm, (which was the other thing I had to pick up from the store.)

the newer CBR's don't come with 'em anymore. well 600's anyway but i'm guessing it's the same with the 1000's now.

Now I've got two 12mm crescent wrenches added, and a 32mm socket wrapped in a shop rag stuffed into the other side.

The rest of my commuter tools are in my backpack. Cyclepump, tire gauge, two Marsee bungies, insurance info, disc alarm lock, tie-down net, and Stop-n-go tire plug kit.

that sucks. on the upside i do see tool kits on ebay going for 20 bucks or so. definitely worth having IMO. horrible that honda stopped including them though.

My bike came with a complete tool kit. I would suggest that your dealer
removed yours before you picked up the bike.
