No if i had your 954 i would turn it into a stunter,and keep my 1000rr for riding. So you should stunt your 954,and go buy a 1000rr

 

a guy i work with is getting rid of a 06 zx-10 in black with 2300 miles on it with a 5 year warr. has devil pipes, fender kit and a smoked screen. he is buying a harley? he wont say why, but they are only offering him 6500 for a trade he owes 6800. he let me ride it and said i could have it for what he owes. after riding it i went out an spent 1500 more on a left over 06 cbr1krr. and am glad i did, the zx10 wasnot to my liking. handling was off, power was to peaky. yeah it might have a few more ponies then a cbr but they are not as smooth. i even checked his air pressure and let out a few pounds still felt weird. all i did was ride it around the block and hit one freeway on ramp to lean it over. then rode it back, told him i would think about it and bought the honda.... keep the 954, or look for a 1krr. unless you dont ride corners and all you do is stunt or freeway blasts. i like my honda much better.

And no I wouldnt do the trade. I wouldnt trade you my F4 for you 954 n the ZX10. I like my bike that much lol. And I always wanted a F4 in the color scheme like I have. But you have to do what you feel is right for you, not what we feel you should do. If we all did that we all would be lawyers n doctors now wouldnt we lol

 

You guys are so biased.........So am I, I'm skeptical....its kinda odd that a guy would want to trade his ZX 10 newer bike for an older one, he really needs the money......so.....You should see the posts I get on "Sportbike Forum" or ZX-10 forum, it's reverse so I'm weighing my options, and trying to be unbiased unlike most of you that can only ride a CBR. I admit it's a hard decision, CBR's are just way easier to ride by far.....or is it just that I'm used to the CBR like the rest of you.......The ZX-10 is harder to ride at first (so I'm told), they also come with Dunlop's onthem so that makes a big difference aswell,it's a mean green machine for sure. I'm going green[:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(], if I had the $$, I would keep the 954, and buy a newer bike most likely the CBR but that ZX -10 is a bad ***!!!

Glad I made the trade, it handles likea dream. It's a bike you got to get used to, once you know how to ride the bike it's awesome. One thing for sure, it's not a bike for amatuers....

 

I had an 05 for a little over 10k miles. I love kawis, very solid reliable bikes. I sold my 10 for an Aprilia. I sold the aprilia to get another 10(my favorite sportbike) but found a smokin deal on my 06 cbr that I couldnt turn down. I really like the honda too but I wouldnt turn down anther 10.

 

Honda's are sweet. Any bike you get nowadays is gonna be nice. Kawasaki for years was a bottom feeder compared to Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha, but now thier back on top with Honda and Suzuki! What color did you get, the green ones are faster!

 

I say go green...I have a buddy with a 06 zx10 and he tweaked his suspension to his liking now its no catching him.That motor is something special and with a good set of tires.You wontbe thinking of your 54 much longer.
