So I traded my 2006 cbr 1000 blue/yellow for an 07 repsol, the dealer ordered it today. Anyone have any ideas as to how long it takes them to get that sort of thing in stock?? (weeks? months?)

Why didn`t you just buy the plastics? I have a red and black 06 CBR1000, but I also liked the blue and yellow. What I did was buy the plastics for the blue and yellow. Now, I can ride 6 months of the year with yellow & blue and when I feel like it, I can change back to black and red. The full set of plastics from the dealer is about $3000.00. You probably lost as much with the trade-in. Just a suggestion.

The dealer should know how long it will take to get your new bike. I had special ordered mine back in 2005 and ended up buying it at another dealer after waiting 4 months. The first dealer kept feeding me a line of BS like shipping issues and quantities of how many were actually made.Anyone know where I can find some pics of the 2007 Repsol?
