Top Speed is 185mph help me go faster
well i tried to set a speed record for my self on my 06 cbr1000rr totally stock. i got on a hwy long straight away and opened up it got to 185 and stopped called honda they said they have a thing in the computer that want alow it to go over 185.

All of the "you're gonna die" stuff aside.... Even if someone told you how to do this, and you were capable of doing it, and you did it, and voided your warranty and all of the other likely issues that you would have....
Would it be worth it? I mean, the bike can't have much left in it after 185. Are you really gaining anything by hitting, say,191? |

I doubt it. I don't plan on finding out, personally.

I think 185 - 186mph is topped out. I think the governor halts it at like 172mph
