Default Tires for colder weather?

I don't want to threadjack the other thread, but I have a question that could start a tire war. My brother's had the Corsas and has Corsa III for the next replacement on his '03 R1and my '07 came stock with the Corsas. I like them so far, with the relatively low miles I have on them, but my brother told me to try to find some stickier tires for the colder months. Any recommendations for cold-weather tires? It's my daily commuter, if that's any help.

Default RE: Tires for colder weather?

ive tried bridgestone bt015, Pilot Powers CT2 and Corsa pros and the best for warm up even in cold weather is the Corsa Pros III....Ive done 2 winter seasons here in Melbourne Australia and it gets pretty cold down here in winter and the corsa pros worked great...I got the 190/55 on the rear and love them....
